Northern California’s Classic Sports Racing Group will host its 10th Annual Charity Challenge at Sonoma Raceway on the weekend of October 4-6. The event will include all the usual CSRG race groups, with vintage and historic racecars dating from pre-WWII into the 1970s, running in eight race groups.
Through its first nine years, the CSRG Charity Challenge has raised more than a half a million dollars in contributions to Speedway Children’s Charities of Sonoma, and highlighting this year’s fund-raising activities will be a raffle of both racing-related and non-racing items, as well as the popular Charity Track Rides in cars that are competing during the weekend.
